BEJEWELED EGGS

I've always had some fascination with the Faberge' egg. They are such beautiful works of art.

I really want to make my Christmas twig tree into a Valentines and egg tree.

That being said ...off to the craft room where most of my hoarding exists to find all those little scraps, vintage jewelry etc.

I wish I had some plastic eggs for this project, but I didn't . I blew a half dozen out by putting a hole in each end with a pin.

VINTAGE ROYAL CHINA MEMORY LANE GLASSES

Here are four Memory Lane pattern glasses. These are clear glass, with applied pink red and white decoration. On these glasses, they feature a scene of a woman waiting at the farm gate on opposite sides of the glass, with the distinctive acorn design framing the designs. Truly adorable works of art.
Each glass is approx. 4-3/4" tall, and each has an approx. 2-1/2" top diameter. All four glasses are in very good condition, with no chips or damage.I picked these beauties up thrifting today. The value for 4 is about 24.00, paid 8.00. I can't wait to have some pink lemonade in the summer!

VINTAGE LEOPARD AND VELVET JACKET

Today while waiting for my two pom pom's to get spa day, I decided to go thrift shopping. I am sooo glad I did. This leopard collar zipper velvet vintage coat (with all the tags still attached) was only 10 bucks!!It still said $129.99 on the tags. Holy wow o wow.
I would say the style is a zippered swing coat. It is made of 100% cotton velvet with a acetate lining  in the U.S.A.

Jean Nicole  was popular back in the early 80′s. They were a knock-off store…if you wanted designer jeans and your mom wouldn’t pay the $30 then you found the knock-off at Jean Nicole for $15. Talk about a blast from the past! These stores went bankrupt and liquidated in 1994. They operated 1,700 stores under the Petrie’s, Stuarts, Marianne, Hartfield’s, Jean Nicole, G&G, Rave, Winkleman’s and M.J. Carroll names.

So I'm guessing the coat is about 20 years old, and is just like new. Yeah for me!
